Crazy Catch drills for Netball with Manchester Thunder

This is a blog for netball coaches and clubs looking to develop their players reaction skills and hand eye co-ordination. The Ultimate Rebound Net has been proving very popular in the netball market recently with the Manchester Thunder NSL and NTL squad inventing some great fun drills with the Crazy Catch range. We ran this campaign in partnership with Netball UK and just wanted to have a place where all the drills could be found quickly and easily. These drills can all be used at your club or school and the difficultly level can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities.

Remember it is the Double Trouble range that we recommend for Netball – the Double Trouble has small netting on one side and larger netting on the other – which obviously creates a more unpredictable rebound.

Drill 1 – Warm up shooting drill

Drill 2 – Crazy Interceptions

Drill 3- Through the Court

Drill 4 – Round the world

Drill 5 – Freestyle shooting

Crazy Catches can also be used in a number of multi player games and our new handheld Freestyle is such a great fun coaching aid, and are perfect for ensuring drills run smoothly as the coach is able to control the pace and direction of the return. Try them for yourself – we guarantee you will have loads of fun!!!

These videos use the Crazy Catch Professional, Crazy Catch Wildchild Double Trouble and the NEW Crazy Catch Freestyle – check them out at http://www.netballuk.co.uk/acatalog/Crazy_Catch.html .

A new club pack has also been created with is the perfect starter pack for clubs containing 2 Professionals and 2 Freestyles. (Buy Now)

Fantastic blog you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any message boards that cover the
same topics discussed in this article? I’d really like to be a part of online community where I can get suggestions from other knowledgeable people that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Many thanks!
