Australian international Jamie Dwyer visited Loughborough University last week to work with the performance hockey squads based on campus. Jamie is a legend of the sport, winning the FIH World Player of the Year award on five occasions. Jamie has won every major honour in hockey, including the Olympic Games in 2004 and the Hockey World Cup in 2010 and 2014. Speaking about Loughborough he commented “It’s a brilliant place – the sporting facilities are world-class and mind blowing”.
