Umar Akmal training with Crazy Catch at the #CWC15

The ICC Cricket World Cup is making headlines for many reasons at the moment – some big hitting from the likes of Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers as well as some top catches are getting press whilst England’s performances sadly are not living up to the billing.

A personal connection with our product and the #CWC15 now comes in the form of Pakistan’s wicket keeper Umar Akmal who is videoed here at the Gabba training his reactions with Crazy Catch. He is playing a game called Crazy T-Ball where the object of the game is to move your opponent around by throwing the ball off the Crazy Catch to the point where they drop a catch, whilst still making all your catches. It’s a great way to fine tune your hand-eye co-ordination and fielding skills and obviously paid off for Akmal who took 5 catches against Zimbabwe.

We wish Pakistan all the best for the rest of the tournament…
